This paper describes the application of usability engineering's Life's Cycle model, proposed by Jakob Nielsen, and Donald Norman's conceptual design principles, to develop a web information system for monitoring and make decisions, for Aedes Aegypti's (dengue's vector) control. The paper remarks the user interface's design process (Graphical User Interface [GUI] and Web) for each one of this system components.
